Have you ever thought about writing a memoir? If you have, then you should come to Chevalier's Books this Saturday, November 12th, between 1-3 pm for a complimentary memoir consultation with Allene Symons, publisher of Forked Road Press. She'll be featuring the title "From Monks to Mountain Gorillas", which is just one of the memoirs published.

"When I began teaching "Introduction to Writing the Memoir," I brought to my classes a background in college teaching, publications editing, and two decades of professional book reviewing (including memoirs).
After creating and offering the class in the Continuing Education Writing Program at California State University, Fullerton, the program was cancelled -- so at the urging of my students I began specializing in private memoir coaching.
Whether face-to-face or online, the goal of these sessions is to focus, bring forth, shape, and polish a writer's memoir, then shepherd the completed manuscript through to publication."
